No, I was linked there by some other surfing. I didn't know there were so many private currency groups. That one is the northeaster forest region of the adirondacks through maine. Likeminded independent folks.

There's been some Indian tribes who've coined their own money too.

Those websites are all about private currencys of barter and about micronations. Here is one called nation-in a hotel. Apparently the owners of the hotel developed a 'micronation' and made coins for it. Probably forced tender to be used while at the hotel and non-redeemable when you left.. That's how I would run the show anyhow. That would encourage repeat business. :)
